LSV vs Golf Cart clarification needed

I am looking at carts and notice that many of them come with typical LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) required features such as seat belts, windshields, headlights, tailights, brake lights, etc.

But very few come with ALL of the features required to be legally classified as an LSV such as a safety glass windshields with wiper, 3-point seat belts, and a VIN.

My community has restrictions against golf carts, but the ordinance does not mention LSVs. Apparently they are 2 different legal classes of vehicles.

But what is the point of including 'LSV-like' features, and calling your vehicles LSVs, if they don't meet all of the requirements?

varys by state ALOT

check your states rules
a few may allow an up grade cart with ALL REQUIRED STUFF TO BE TAGGED a LSV
others will hang up on a VIN or other rules
RESEARCH REQUIRED
