Keeps running after key is off.
My g16 will run for a few minutes after I release pedal and turn key off.

All the time, though it doesn't seem to take as long to shut of when it's cold. The more I drive it, the longer it takes to shut down

Shutting off the key should kill power to the activation circuit so my best guess would be a stuck solenoid or failed engine stop relay.

Make sure the connector in front of the engine (black/white wires) didn't come disconnected. This will allow the engine to run on.
