Re: Custom Precedent build
Thank you! We always enjoy everyones feedback. It's not to big of a deal, all it does is delay when the customer gets their cart as we have start again. This is typically how we refurbish all of our carts. So once we complete the DS we will get back onto this cart and finish it up for inventory, which is great because we have been playing catch up all year long, trying to build up inventory again, but they keep selling faster then we can build.
Thanks again for your feedback! |

Take 2!
So we started on the DS today for our customer. Got it all torn down and the frame sent off to the media blasters. |

Re: Custom Precedent build
I know we have all seen carts torn down before, but we like to outline the whole project. We will be starting to disassemble the front end and rear end tomorrow in preparation for the frame to return, then we can start re assembly of the cart.

Re: Custom Precedent build
Here is the DS frame back from media blasting. It's great starting with a nice clean frame, it's the best way to go! Then we wash each part in the parts washer and get it prepped ready for paint. We also installed the HD suspension and then got the 09 Precedent rear end installed.

Re: Custom Precedent build
Installed some front end components after painting them. The customers have decided on no lift on the DS, so we are waiting for some OEM parts to come in (spindles, hubs etc) While we wait for those parts to come in we will be prepping the body for the custom paint and installing the 09 precedent wiring.

Re: Custom Precedent build
Great work Holomis!
Just a note though: I noticed that your using stock CC HD rear leafs, I "had" those on my cart when I bought it, after I put my 3" lift on, I heard a "clapping" when accelerating, it drove me nuts! Here's a quick vid of what I found it was: (I've since replaced them with aftermarket leafs) I just thought I'd give you a "heads up"! |
