My clutch was already broken, so I didn't need to be so careful. It was rusted on the shaft as well. I used PB Blaster penetrant and it really worked good. I found a new clutch on ebay for $212.00 Good luck!

Well...finally got the d*** thing off.
The last week I haven't even beat on it. I'd just walk by it in the garage once a day and soaked it really good. Tonight I thought I'd give it a shot. Took a brass rod and stuck it in the bolt hole and whacked it a couple of times. Grabbed to clutch to give it a HARD tug...and it come off...easily...and I landed on my ***. Fixin to send it off to CPP to be machined and spring installed. Thanks everyone. |
