Does it turn over but don't start or what? If it won't start that might be the fuel pump.

Sounds like the fuel tank vent is plugged, causing a vacuum in the tank. Once the engine compartment cools off the pressure in the fuel tank equalizes. Next time you go for your 1/2 hour ride, and it won't re-start, try venting the fuel cap to see what happens.

Yes! I vented the gas tank and started right back up. Now there is no vent actualy for the tank. Could i drill a very small hole or would this be stupid.

The first thing I would try... is to see what's causing the cap not to vent. Usually there's a rubber diaphgram somewhere inside the cap that flexes to let the air into the tank, and closes to stop gas from leaving the tank.
There's always a chance of fire if you drill a hole..don't want a flaming ride.
I would suggest purchasing a new cap if you can't repair. Ebay has them for under 20 bucks.

I agree. Don't drill a hole in the tank, that's not a good idea. Either fix the cap or buy a new one. The cap vent is designed to let air in. But when the fuel gets hot, it keeps the vapors from escaping. nomo
