Re: Club car precedent 4 link HELP!
There are alot of small UTVs that have sway bars, but they're $$$. Club car also makes them for the Carryall and Transporter/Limo models of the DS. They would certainly fit but you would have to make brackets to mount it and that adds complexity that you probably don't need IF you can get the right dual rate spring.

Re: Club car precedent 4 link HELP!
Well using this very very well built oil filter wrench I successfully turned the shock adjusters up. What a difference! It's nearly perfect other than the banging issue cause by the shock being fully extended. I've also noticed that the passenger side is sitting a little low. I do have most of the weight on this side but the shocks arnt compressed at all so it should be even. I'll be doing some measuring and trying to figure out why.

Re: Club car precedent 4 link HELP!
Glad to hear it was just a matter of adjustment of the coils.
Launch it over the ramps! Go for it! |

I haven't found any good videos or articles on how to tighten the links or square everything up. Any ideas?! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk |

Re: Club car precedent 4 link HELP!
From my research; find a point of reference somewhere on the cart (i.e. center point of the front rim, a central point on the frame, etc.) and pull your measurements from that point on one side of the axle then repeat for the other side of the axle from the same reference point on that side of the cart.
Barring any prior frame structure compromise; your mounting points should be pretty equal on both sides. |
