Default Single DC Voltage Meter - Dual Voltage Readings

Installing a 48-12v reducer and misc accessories and was sketching up a schematic and a few questions came to mind that I would like to confirm. The reducer will be activated from the cold side of the key switch and grounded to the B- connection on the controller. To preface my questions, I use my cart for hunting and there's times I need to go dark ops. I have a DPDT (on-off-on)switch that I want to control the display of the digital volt meter to read pack voltage or reducer output voltage.

1. For pack voltage reading can I connect to the "hot side" of the key switch and wire to 1 pole on the DPDT switch? This would allow me check the pack without using the key switch and triggering the reducer.

2. The other pole on the DPDT switch will be wired from the 12 volt fuse block. Obviously the key switch will need to be on to check the lower voltage.

3. Any concerns having 2 positive feeds (48v & 12v) connected to the single + wire on the digital volt meter.

Thanks in Advance!

Follow up:
The voltage reducer and 12 volt system is installed and operational. I'm glad I wired the digital volt meter from the hot side of the key switch. I can check pack condition with the toggle switch without triggering the reducer. The RHOX LED headlights are more than adequate for dark time driving. I'm glad they are adjustable. Placed the 12v fuse/ground buss in a Tupperware sandwich container and mounted it in the passenger side storage bend of my DS, painted it flat black so it matches.
