I talked with another guy and he believes it's the controller too. So now to decide try to get them to warranty the controller and get out of it or get an Alltrax and call it good. Have 1400 in it right now. Batteries another 600 and allltrax 500. 2500 goal and needs a little front end work :(

On an Precedent Excel cart it is not a good investment to replace the Controller with another OEM controller, new or repaired.

The OEM Controller makes it harder to install many performance upgrades.

The best solution would be an Altrax Controller.

It may be an issue with that repaired Controller.

Unless You have an IQDM type Curtis programmer, it will be hard to diagnose much further.

Without an IQDM, the only way to measure the throttle signal is to get a reading on the Yellow wire (Pin #2) at the Controller 16-pin connector, with everything connected, FNR in neutral and key switch ON.

It should vary from 0.35v to 4.65v (approximately) from Pedal Up to Pedal down.

Perhaps other folks have some ideas.
I've been dealing with him via PM, and your responses are nearly identical to mine. lol. Awesome. I think it's a controller problem too. I don't like rebuilt controllers at all.

Well just wanted to update everyone. I spoke with a rep who sold the refurb controller and he didn't seem to think it was the controller. On the flip side I bought the Alltrax so I'll know soon!

My problem was fixed with the great help of Mr Hicks. Ended up replacing MCOR and speed controller. Alltrax was showing that the cart was hooked up to charger even though it was unplugged. Bypassed the computer and all seems good to this point

I’ve got a cart doing the exact same thing, all the resistors are measuring right throttle is reading correctly too.
What I’ve noticed with the handheld is that it’s almost starting out at 50% throttle and after it gets to 100 it goes into a fault and back to 0.
If I unplug the 2 pin connector it reads fine but as soon as I plug it back in it reads about 30% more throttle than with it unplugged.
Any ideas?
