Default 2002 48v cc ds having acceleration issues

I am having an acceleration issue with this buggy. It takes off fine but the further you press the pedal it loses power. Any ideas? I checked voltage in all six batteries and all seems ok. Thanks

Not nearly enough information has been provided for anyone to help you. Club Car made many different models & drive types in 2002. Using your serial number LOOK THRU HERE and advise more precisely what type of cart you have.

Joesam, cart is 2002 club car ds with Curtis iQ. Upon further diagnosis, if you stomp the accelerator really hard it will go ahead and speed up. Any other questions?

Possibly a faulty MCOR. I would check the speed sensor first. If the sensor is intermittent, it can cause the cart to slow down while driving.
To test it do the following:
1.) Put the cart on level ground with the parking brake not set
2.) Make sure the cart is on and in Forward
3.) Get behind the cart and attempt to push it by hand.
If it beeps and resists your pushing, the sensor is ok and working properly...
