Can I replace the battery idiot light, using the same wiring, to an install an analog or digital meter?
Thanks

No, the idiot light is hooked up to the OBC, which does not reflect pack voltage.
You will have to run your own leads.

Digital is tremendously better...The key switch is 48v and you can take the positive off it. That way the meter can be turned off with the key. I then ran a separate wire to the most negative battery post of the pack.

Yep, digital is WAY better, and I wired mine just like CartTrader did.
