Question Adding ultimate light kit to 06 precedent

Hello everyone!
Building my first cart and ran across a snag. Bought the ultimate light kit for my 2006 48v precedent and the instructions tell me to plug the 4 wires (blue,blue/white, green/white and orange)into the relay. None of which are loose from the harness like in the instructions. I do see 3 of the 4 wires split between the 12 and 9 pin BUT do not see a green with white stripe anywhere. When I pulled the dash and looked, my wiring seems a little different. Not sure if I have the factory headlight/taillight kit or if the po installed an aftermarket, I have a 12 pin connector and a 9 pin that are plugged in then there is a 3 pin (only a red and orange wire) sitting to the side not connected to anything and 2 loose wires (red, black/yellow stripe) under the key that aren't hooked up. Everything else in the kit seems to be straight forward but the relay wires, not so much...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The relay wires are not the same colors as the instructions say. You will need to use a meter and check the voltage on the 4 loose wires you have from the harness and place them in the correct location on the relay. Test once connected and adjust as needed.

Thanks for the response, guess I'll test'em

I will say when I watched the installation video, he still had the 2 loose wires under the dash not in use, didn't see the 3 pin in any vid or mentioned in any search. Just don't want to cut/spice anything if not needed. Also, there are 2 wires not in use by the front light one orange and one red. Just another thing I can't find mentioned in any post of vid I've seen.

AND, having trouble trying to post pics.

If I recall correctly, some of the light kits have a relay looking for 2 48v inputs and 2 12v inputs. I may have an instalation guide I can post a pic of the relay with the appropriate voltage for each terminal on the relay. I'll check and let you know.

Thanks for posting that up. I do have copy of those instructions, its just my wires aren't the same colors nor do I have the extra 4 wires coming out of the harness as it shows. I need to trace the wires but my meter is toast and was hoping someone has been through this with the same harness as I have

How many posts do I need before I can post pics? That would probably make it a lot easier
