Default 2010 surges as you drive and quits before 18 holes

The 2010 Electric Club Cart surges while driving and tries to stop especially on hills before finishing 18 holes, today it was 6 holes. I unplugged the charger and plugged it back in yesterday to make sure it was charged. The low battery light never come on. Don't know that it works. When I bought the cart I was told that they was new batteries that they replaced the old ones because the cart wouldn't go far enough.

The 2010 Club Cart surges as I drive slow. I was told when I got the cart that new batteries was installed because it wouldn't go far enough. After a fresh charge it will go anywhere from 5 to 16 holes. I keep the charger on it in the garage.

Get volt readings of each battery and post them.

Look for a date code on the batteries and that will tell you their age. Letter represents month numbers represent year. (A12 would be Jan 2012 etc)

I haven't got a voltage meter yet, but the batteries have a serial number on all of them that starts with a K06. Each battery also have a white sticker with a bar code on it that has a K-11 on it.

So the batteries are from November 2011. If you are going to work on this cart yourself, go but a multi meter today.

The batteries all checked over 8. The output of all the batteries was 42. When the charger kicks in it was 53. I don't think its the batteries.

8x6 doesnt equal 42. 42v is like 0% battery. Are you sure you measured right?

Did you let the charger finish a complete cycle?

What are the actual readings of each battery? One half volt can be the difference in 100% and 50%. Ive repaired carts that wete doing the same thing and it be caused by a bad cell in a battety and .2 or .3 difference

I measured the + and - on each battery and all of them was 8.3. I then put the - on the last -ternmial and the + on the first plus. The reading was 42. I unplugged the charger, then plugged it back in and while running I checked the first and last ternmial and got 53 while it was running.
