Default jerking

I have a 2000 Club Car carryall and I am experiencing jerking when I dont push the excelarator down the whole way or when I let off of it. I have sent the back clutch to tom for power spring two years ago and last year I had to have the front clutch replaced. So my question is one of the clutches causing it or something else?

I guess jerking may describe it. It's more like if your driving and you pump the breaks. You kind get that hopping feeling. It has the 350 kaw engine and I replaced the belt thinking that was the issue but it still does it.

Mine does this, still working on it but check the bolt that holds the motor carriage to the frame right below your shifter in the engine bay. Mine was all sorts or striped and would bounce. Also your driven clutch could be going I had this issue also

O.K. sorry it took a while to respond, but. I took my cart to over to have it looked at and to see if maybe it was the belt. We put a new belt on as the old one seem pretty worn. It jerked intionally and then seem to stop. But, after taking it for a short ride I stopped at the camp store for a min. and it started jerking worse than before. I forgot to check the bolt that you described and probably wont be able for a couple of weeks. Sooo....

You might also want to check the front motor mount (snubber). If this is badly worn it will allow the motor to move about excessively and cause your symptoms. Here's a thread on the subject; http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...r-snubber.html

I never thought of that, but its funny I had to replace it either last or two years (seasons) ago. But never gave it a second look to even see if it still there. So I will have to check. Thanks.
