Gas harlel golf cart cant get to accelerate
I have just purchased my first gas harley davidson golf cart!! i am looking forward to trying to restore it! im unsure if its running or just the starter turning over, it dose not accelerat or go anywhere! What should i do????

Welcome over here. As you stated earlier, the headpipe was not getting hot so its not firing. Is the spark plug wet? If not it may not be drawing fuel. Was old gas left in the tank?

Plug is not wet, i cleaned out tank and put new fuel in cart. maybe i need to clean out carb? thank you for all your thoughts!!! Im really excited about this cart!! I love fixing anything old up but this is my first golf cart!!! i knmow nothing at all about these engines, ( i did get a repair manual for it so ive been reading!!) Thanks again!
