Default Moving to a 48v charger on ezgo, 3 wires on plug, 2 on charger, will it work?

I have a eagle performance 48 volt charger. It only has the positive and negative wires. The ezgo has the same, but with a middle wire between them.

Will this charger work, and if so, do I just leave out the middle wire?

I'd search into it more, but I'm super busy this weekend and want to get the charger going.

Any help is appreciated.

Great thanks for the response. Do I need to change anything at the receptacle, or just leave out that wire and I'm good to go with no other changes?

Just don't know if the cart will be looking for that connection.
