Default problem not solved

I put new batteries in my 02 CC DS series 48v cart this weekend. Still have the same clicking on and off noise and orange battery light coming on randomly. It's not doing it as often as it use to but it's still doing it just the same. What is the next thing to trouble shoot? Also... it only does 10 mph and is a pig going up any incline. HELP! I wanna go faster and I want the clicking on and off to go away and run properly. Thanks.

C/P

Battery Break-in Procedures
Brand new batteries are approximately 70 to 75% charged so once they are installed (correctly) the 1st 10 to 12
complete charge/discharge cycles are as follows:
1. Plug charger in and leave it alone until charger shuts off by itself then drive cart to about 70% battery life
and plug back in and repeat charge cycle.
2. Very important you leave it charge until it’s completely done! This is what you want to do 10 to 12 times
......by the 12th time you’ll notice a difference in power/speed and runtime.
3. That’s the break in period pretty simple wouldn’t you say..........while doing this keep an eye on water level
as I have seen it take 16 hours or better the 1st few times as they break in you’ll notice charge time gets less
also.
4. After that the 2nd most important thing is maintaining the batteries........very critical you get into a routine
of spending a whole 20 minutes a few times a month to keep things in good/clean and tight condition to get
a lot more time out of your batteries.

No. Didn't know there was a break in period. I ran them down then charged them and it did the same thing all weekend

Batteries should never go under 50% SOC (state of charge)Best to keep the from going under 70%. You need to get a good digital SOC meter so you can use it like a gas gage . a simple multi meter works across the whole pack

100% 50.96
90% 50.48
80% 50.01
70% 49.52
60% 48.96
50% 48.41
40% 47.84
30% 47.28
20% 46.64
10% 46.01

This is a tall order for me. My cart is 300 miles away and only gets used 1 or two weekends a month in the summer and parks for the winter. Gonna have to rethink my winters. Lol. It's hell on batteries I know.
