How to make shifting easier?
Hi:
I have 1986 lifted, big block Club Car. Below is a link to the build. When the cart was stock, shifting between forward and reverse was relatively easy. Now, however, after the modifications, it is very difficult to shift. I never unhooked the cable from transaxle, and the cable runs the same path as before the modifications. I'd appreciate any ideas anyone may have on how to make the shifting easier. Thanks. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/big-b...questions.html |

Re: How to make shifting easier?
make sure that the shift linkage is tight against the shift lever.. i had a huge space while they were still connected and it cause a lot of "play" in the shifting.. tightening the shift lever to the linkage helped..
