Default Charger will not work

As I'm get ready to do the DIY 4-12 volt to 6-8 volt battery conversion on my 2006 Precedent my charger will not charge. I took all the batteries out of the cart and make the modifications to the battery tub then reinstalled the batteries. Now the charger will not kick on to charge. Everything is hooked up right as the cart runs and drives fine. I have 50 volts at the batteries but only 35 volts at the plug. Any ideas what such a difference in volts from the pack to the plug.

Did you try resetting the OBC?

Measure the voltage from Pack Negative to the Positive socket at the charger receptacle, it should be the same as Pack Voltage.

If it is not, make sure the red wire from the charger receptacle is connected to the pack positive battery post.

The batteries where out of the cart for a month so the OBC should be reset. Also I know the red wire from the charger receptacle is hooked up but I will check the voltage like Sergio said. I checked and have 50 volts from negative on the battery pack to positive on the charger receptacle. But still only 35 volts at the plug.

That's because the OBC doesn't provide full power to the charger receptacle until it's turned on. This is normal. If the charger doesn't turn on when you plug it into the cart, either the OBC isn't providing a turn-on signal via the grey wire or the relay in the charger is bad.

Did You get it working? Did anything come unplugged from the OBC while you replaced the batteries?

The ground wire connector between the charger outlet to the OBC was severely corroded. Replace the connection everything is good
