Default What type of plastic on a Yamaha G2

I'm new to golf carts and am working on my first project cart. I have a Yamaha G2 that need a lot of body work. Does anyone know what "type" of plastic was used on the G2?

Does anyone know where I could find out what type of plastic was used on the 1985 Yamaha G2's?

Welcome to BGW

Maybe do some searching on the Yamaha website? I'm not sure exactly what the plastic is.

Welcome

I am also not sure what kind of plastic but I have done body work and painted a few of them. Is there a certain reason you want to know what kind of plastic it is like for bonding to it or prepping it for paint or something. If you let us know what you're plans are we might be able to help a little more.

Talking Re: What type of plastic on a Yamaha G2

I should have been a bit more descriptive in what I am trying to do. I am working on fixing an area where someone backed into something and the area around the brake light is cracked about 4 inches long.

Thanks for all the help!!!!!

I/ve had great luck with JB Weld for plastic, but when mixed, it's grey. Would look to good with a white body
