Yamaha G14/Predator 420 throttle cable setup???
Has anyone already done a Predator 420cc to Yamaha G14 throttle linkage hookup? I think there’s an easy answer out there but I’m really struggling with this one. Please help, this is the last piece of my engine swap.

Are you running the accelerator pedal cable directly to the carb?
Or are you still going to use the governor on the transaxle? Can you post a photo? |

I bumped up my clone throttle thread in the clone big block section. I have a yamaha G 14 with a VC 460 clone engine. If you follow the thread pics show the original install with the governor cable and later just running right from the gas pedal.

Just an FYI, Predator engine throttle setups are very much different than a Vegas Carts engine. Much more linkage to deal with, especially with the stock governor intact. There are little tricks to deal with the factory governor if you aren't ready to take the engine apart and you have good throttle discipline.
