Default carb tuning mikuni or eBay CV carb

Hey all curious if anyone out there has tuned a mikuni VM or tm carb for a 440 or 460. I am having trouble finding jets for my 32mm CV carb off of eBay. Any input would be great!

I bought that same ebay carb. 32mm CV with elect enrichment? For a GY6? It uses the same type of jets from the early Harley's, but the dealers don't carry them. I found them online but scared to pull the trigger.....at $7 each, can't really afford to buy the wrong ones.

That's why it's sitting in a box in my garage.

If I were you, I'd get a Mikuni.

Tough to beat a Tilly for ease of tuning.
CVK GY6 carb should be Keihin round jets, clones available around $3/ea, cheaper in multi-packs.

110 was the main in the original application, prolly a decent start.

You'll likely have to shim the needle .5-1mm and/or spin a little more taper in to the last 15mm or so, or swap for a thinner one.

Awesome info folks! Are you aware of the stock needle size and or where to find alternatives? How about the pilot jet. Okay in stock form?

I have not did anything on my cart since 12/26.It has been so cold windy and wet on the island that I spend most of my time at GFs house.I just was down this last weekend to finish my repairs on frozen pipes.

I have a lift kit to install along with disc brakes which will probably be first on the list.Next most likely will be the raceing flywheel. After that the arc rod and vegascarts isky cam.Vegascarts Geoff had posted here about making cvk manifolds. So far the vegascarts modified carb has worked fine.Once the warm weather comes I can't wait to drive my clone alot more.I guess my point is that unless the modified stock carb shows some big reason to replace it, it is a low priority on my list.
