Looks like a neat idea. I just have the 4 leaf HD, and mine rides fine even with just one passenger, two extra batteries and a rear seat, both on road and off.

Its' an OverLoad-Leaf.Most trucks use them.When the springs flatten out,they will rest on that leaf for additional support.It doesn't affect ride until loaded.

Do you have a rear seat? I have a rear seat and two extra T-105s, but only weigh 175, so I'd think extra stiff springs would be worse with a light driver.
Probably 80% of my driving is on county roads with no speed bumps, but to get to our two "sister subdivisions" I have to drive off-road, and never do so without my foot to the floor. I like the idea of those hybrid springs, just can't help you with first-hand knowledge. I do know that with three passengers, and driving way too fast for conditions, my shackles would scrape the pavement going into or out of certain driveways, and don't do that anymore. |

Mine just has the standard 4 leaf HD springs with a steel utility bed on the back. Ride with the buggy unloaded is fine to me, loaded with weight in the bed does smooth it out. But even empty it is not bone jarring.

Go with those springs! I didn't know they had golf cart springs with a rebound leaf in it! You will love the performance of a two stage spring, especially with a light duty application!
