Default Suggestions for new motor

Well, I had a dcx300 controller that I was wanting to trade in for a dcx500. The cost of the difference was way more than what I could fork out at this time so I had to go with a dcx400.

I have a 2000.5 pds plus with everything on it stock. Any suggestions for a new motor? Just looking to cruise this thing around the neighborhood. Pretty hilly neighborhood.

Any suggestions on anything else I should do would be nice too.

What I realized about 2 weeks ago, is I started to make a comment on a 2 word motor company. and it came out as "*********" , so in response to my intelligence level
your right .
If not being able to enter words and have them edited out, and noticing this ,
means I'm stupid then ENOUGH Said !!

I've talked to a few companies that sell motors. I've had different opinions from all. Some of them, I don't feel like they are giving me the best advice for my setup but just giving me advice to direct me to one of the few motors they have no matter if it is right for me or not.

I'm very new to all of this and would trust opinions of people on this forum more than someone that is actually selling me the product.

Anyway, didn't know it was a touchy subject. Guess i'll just take my chances and hope it turns out ok.

What are you looking for? What kind of speed do you want out of it? Any current gps readings? We all like pics too. If we can narrow down your goal you'll get less fluff in your responses. Rear seats on your cart? Also, do you have a budget? That can really narrow down your options also.

and remember... 1-800-admit-it

Yep... It's still in my back!

Just kidding Scotty... I couldn't resist...

Like you said it's BEEN over with!

AddctdGmbler,

As far as motors that can work just do a search right here on BGW/this forum and several threads will pop up that can help you with your decision based on what your requirements are. No PM's even needed
