Default SOC readings

These new US Batteries have been installed about 2 months. The amp meter from Scottyb has been in less than a month. Originally it was reading 51.3-51.5 for the high side. The multimeter was usually reading .1-.2 lower amp at that time (51.1-51.3). Now the amp meter will read 51.3-51.9 at rest after full charge and multimeter read 51.1-51.4. Not sure which is the nearest to being correct? Is it even possible for batteries to BE above 51.3 amps? The difference in readings started out being multimeter .1 or .2 lower, then .2-.4 lower, today .5 lower? New battery in multimeter less than a week ago. ...... ERROR ....... not amps, should be VOLTS!!!

Pics show you are measuring volts. Not sure how you are measuring amps. Also, your handheld meter looks fairly new. When was it certified? [There should be a seal on it somewhere].

US's typically run .5 to 1 volt higher. Check the manufacturer for specifics for your set.

The digital voltmeter in your dash is likely reading lower than actual. I've had two and both were off by -.2 to -.5 voltes from actual.

Wow ..... that would be GREAT, meaning volts would be above 52!

Well, my first step would be to take the meter to a friend or business that either calibrates them or at least has certified meters and compare readings. Then, keep us posted.

I would not worry about less than a one volt difference. Main thing the cart is running and your batteries are hold charge. You can get a different voltage reading depending on where you touch your probes and how good the contact is.
