1992 4 cycle marathon not running right
My buggie is backfiring through the intake when I give it gas, until it reaches top speed. Its a low speed issue, also I have to gradually give it gas to get to top speed, if I just floor it, it bogs down and backfires through the intake, I have just recently drained/cleaned tank, and carb, put in new plugs, and adjusted the valves. How many turns out should the air mix screw be? I also noticed that one of my plugs has a slight miss, I replaced that plug and wire and it still has a slight miss, do you think it could be the coil starting to go bad? Compression is also good, both right about 170. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot, Jp

Thanks for looking guys, but I found the problem, My coil is arcing off the mounting screw, time to do some insulating.
