Default Heavy Duty Dual Action Leaf Springs Squeek

I bought the HD Dual Action Leaf Springs, and can't take the squeeking from them.

All I hear going down the road is squeak, squeak, squeak from the rear

Can I lube them up or do something to make them stop? And what points would I lube up? Springs, bushing, or both and with what?

I would start with the bushings and use WD-40 until you locate the squeak. It will shut it up but not last long. If it is the bolt sleeve in the bushing I would take it out and use grease. If it's the bushing on the shackle I would use white lithium spray grease.

Spray some good penetrating oil between the springs. They are meant to slide past each other. That is probably where the squeak is coming from. Otherwise the bushings are meant to get a light coat of grease prior to install.

Nothing more annoying than squeaking suspension!! I'd go to a auto parts store and see if they have Wurth. Home Depot def won't have it. They make the best spray can lubes and greases

I LOVE cheap and easy fixes.

In the words of RedGreen if it moves and shouldn't Duct tape. If doesn't move and should WD40.

Penetrating oil might not last too long. If it doesn't, use the white lithium grease. Regardless happy quiet cruising!!
