Default 03 club car newbe

Just bought this cart, and need some help with basic info. The serial is AA038-279423. The battery's voltage check out at 8.32 to 8.39 after charge. It has the lever type f/r. I am wondering if it is DS, and where the power for the lights come from. There is what looks like a connection block in the battery compartment with blade type connections, but I do not see where they are getting the 12 volts from.

Thanks for any input,

Welcome to BGW.

It is a DS cart. How do you know the lights are 12 volt?.....if they happen to be you may have a DC-DC voltage convertor somewhere supplying power to the distribution block.

What voltage do the headlights usually run on? I had an ez-go that was 12 vdc, so I thought these would proably be also. I have a dc voltage reducer I was going to use, it is for a 48 volt cart. Wish I knew more about these carts.
Is there a site that has the manuals available ?
Thanks,
crunch1

Most lights are 12 volt but you do occasionally see others. They might have tapped into 2 of the batteries for 16 volts. It will run on 16 but the lights won't last long. Sorry, no manuals available except paper copies.
