Angry 1987 yamaha g1 solenoids

Recently added a 4 inch lift to my 1987 g1. Now that lift is on starter turns but motor does not fire. While workinh on this project i replaced a reverse solenoid which had "welded" itself together. I just found a blown fuse late today . Needed are an actual photo of how solenoids whould be wired as well as any wiring diagrams would be greartly appreciated. This is my first time using this site - hope i am posting appropriately thanks

Welcome! Go to the above section "sticky's", the very bottom one, Yamaha's service and parts web site. Click the link, follow promps, but go to 1985 G1a "owners manual", page #83 or so will have a wireing diagram. Hope that helps. And good luck.
