Default G16e Hesitation in Forward

Hello All. I've been lurking the last few weeks while working on my most recent project. I have G16e that I put new batteries in. Everything was fine over the last few weeks as I ran it 15 or so miles with no obvious issue. Fast forward to this past weekend when my idiotic friend decided to try to do burnouts , and now there is a hesitation when trying to accelerate in forward. This doesn't seem to happen in reverse. The solenoid clicks, but there is an obvious stutter/jump at very low speeds. Sometimes it won't move at all and you have to cycle the direction lever several times before it will stutter and move. My initial research lead me to a "MCOR", but I haven't been able to find much information on this regarding my particular model. Is there something else it's called on the yamahas? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can, but it's not a lasting repair.

G22e (48v, sepex motor, toggle switch for F&R) is a whole different animal than a G16e (36v, series motor, mechanical rotary switch for F&R). If your G22e f&r switch is acting up, buy a new switch. The original G22e switch was epoxy glued together at the back & I doubt your getting it apart in any fashion that would ever allow for reassembly.
