Yes - the performance cart market is slowing. I'm pretty much done with the V Twin conversions for the showroom and will build them on an order basis from now on...

remlle, sorry for stepping on your thread like we have, if you want i'll remove the things that have no meaning to your cart or situatation.
What we have been trying to tell you is that you would be better off with a 4 stroke cart for modifying. It would be a super big job to fix up the old 2 stroke and we just don't feel its worth it. that is just opinions and it's your cart so we'll try to help if we can.

Mr. Jon,

Maybe this would be a good thread to keep as is.... and cite it later on as a source of opinons for other people with the same or similar question?

either way is fine with me.
Im not lookint to spend alot. if the 4stroke wont fit or work then thats fine and Ill use the cart as is but that engine isnt a bad deal if it will work in the cart and then with the 4 stroke and the 200 for the cart Ill have onbly spent 700 and thats far better then 1500 minimum for a newer 4 stroke. Im lookin for an answer if the engine I posted earlier will work or fit. thanks

If you have a 2 stroke EZGO in which the engine that sits sideways, then NO stock 4 stroke will work without changing the rear end and some serious modifications to the engine mounting system. Plus all the electrics? You're throwing it out the window. I'd pass on everything and continue looking...

Don't know - never seen it - never got a serial number from you - still a waste of time my friend - you're buying a money pit - send it to scrap before you waste a dime on it - tough words, but I'm being honest - I think that is the general advice of everyone here - 4 th down and 35 yards - PUNT

The engine will not work right in your cart, the engine is a good deal but you'd never get it working right in there. The 2 strokes carts spin the engine backwards for reverse, the 4 stroke carts have reverse built into the rear end and the engines only spins in one direction.
As for your cart, Keep it, run the wheels off of it and save up for a 4 stroke cart. Me, I would sell it while its still running.
