Club Car 5 Solenoid & Resistor to Controller Conversion kits
Introducing a plug and play 5 solenoid or resistor coil to solid state speed control upgrade kit from Carts Unlimited for all 1983 and up Club Cars through 2003.
Made from high grade aluminum parts. The easy to install throttle converting bell crank and throttle linkage works with any voltage and any battery configuration, like 6/6v for 36 volts or 8/6v for 48 volts. There are many levels of performance component kits to customize your cart to the level you want to. Like they say 'from mild to wild'! So get rid of those power robbing resistor coils Drag your speed control system kicking and screaming into the 21st century.....and bump your cart up to 48v The sky is the limit with kits from 400-700 amps. Component kits C42 - C54 Are listed here..... http://cartsunlimited.net/Scottyb_s_Conversion_Kit.html This kit mounts the potentiometer high and dry in the battery bay at about the same height as the top of the batteries.... Tried and tested & now available to you. |

Re: Club Car 5 Solenoid & Resistor to Controller Conversion kits
It's going to make it very easy to upgrade an older cart. The electronics had always been straight forward but, the mechanical conversion was a challenge for many people. This is a plug and play application!

NO, Regen I carts Are already ESC driven carts. They need to be converted to series carts in order to be upgraded.
If you have questions about this please start another thread in the Electric Club Car section so we don't get too far off topic here in the resistor coil and 5 solenoid upgrade thread. |

Re: Club Car 5 Solenoid & Resistor to Controller Conversion kits
I''m interested in your conversion kit for my 87 Club Car DS 36V, but all I can find on your site are kits for EZ-GO. Do Ez-Go and Club Car use the same components?

Yes these carts use the same electronics, the throttle conversion, mounting hardware, and cable sets are different.
Ezgo Conversion Adapters & mounting kit is $179 Club Car Conversion Adapters & mounting kit is $129 Then choose one of the component packages and a cable set. http://cartsunlimited.net/Scottyb_s_Conversion_Kit.html |
