Default Recommendations on 6” Lift Kits for Smooth Ride

I posted this same Thread into the "Lifted Golf Carts" forum section but i'm not getting any feedback over there. So posting this here to see if viewers of this forum has any input they would like to share.

I have a 09 Yamaha G29 electric cart with a MadJax 6” A-Arm lift. I’m not happy with the lift as the front suspension is stiff and doesn’t handle well at higher speeds. So I’m looking for a alternative 6” kit that has better front suspension travel, smoother ride, and better handling.

I came across this Steeleng SGC 6” Lift Kit. Does anyone have this kit and share your thoughts?

Any other 6” Kits suggestions?

For a smoother ride i would just go with a better shock absorber for type of riding you do. I tried some polaris rzr rear shocks and they fit in my yamaha with a 6in lift. Had to take out lift bracket but they gave a better ride. Had to take them out though cuz of rubbing due to the weight of passengers on limo cart, but with just me and wife rode really smooth

I am also interested in a better oprion. I have a Jake's 6" spindle lift on my G29. The camber is off which is causing uneven wear on the tires. I haven't found a way to adjust them, yet. The G29 does get wobbly much above 20mph.

I talked to a engineer at Steeling this evening. He actually said he did not recommend the Kit I mentioned above. He said in a few weeks a new model is coming out and it would be better to wait for it. From his brief description, the coil overs in this kit is stiff. Good for off road use but terrible for smooth surfaces. He actually said that the MadJax kit I have now may be better then their current model.

Unfortunately what I’m finding in my research for a better riding lift kit is there is no such kit. Kits in general are stiff and ride rough. Which really sucks considering it’s 2021 and people have been lifting carts for years. Seems that someone would have found the formula for smoother ride and good handling lift kit.
