Default Trojan Battery Question

Hey Guys,

I picked up 4 brand new T1275 12-volt batteries a few weeks ago and I don't think they are working correctly.

I normally could drive around for over an hour and not see the power meter move and now if I drive a for about 10 mins the meter moves. Any ideas?

I have an EZGo RXV

When you say power meter moves , what type is it ? If it is a round needle type or a led bar style they are not worth nothing. You need a digital volt that shows you true pack voltage.

Also it takes 30-40 charge cycles to build up a new set of batteries. They get a little better charge each time as they break in.

Get this...I don't know why companies install the other type when these are so cheap and usually accurate.

What Bama Brad said. All carts should have them to monitor voltage.😊
Meters are of no value when monitoring battery life/charge.

Is there a video on how to replace old one with this one? I am not someone who can easily install this. The power meter needs to be same size as my current one. LOL

If you already have one of the bar meters in your dash, just take it out and hook the wires to the new one. Not hard to do...I did have to trim some to make the hole a little larger for it to fit.
