Default Finished Transforming my Golf Cart into a Hunting Buggy

It took forever to document, but just finished documenting my golf carts journey to a hunting buggy...this is a long one! Feel free to chime in if I steer anyone wrong..tried to write the post I wish I would have had starting this journey.

Very nice work!!

I don't know what part of the country you will be using this cart in, but my hunting is done in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Here....hills are hills and mountains are "more bigger" hills. W. Virginia is the only place I know of that has steeper hills!

Like you, my motor is for torque to go up the hills. That, along with a limited slip differential that provides position-traction when needed will get me where I want to go.

OTOH...what goes up....must come down. The first few years I had only the factory drum brakes and those proved inadequate on slippery terrain and steep downhills. I installed a set of front Jake's disc brakes and going down hill was not the exciting thing it use to be.

Just tossing it out that you may want to look at front brakes....again, depending upon how steep and how long the hills you hunt are.

Again....Nice cart!!

Legit write up. Especially appreciated the part where you explained how to wire the buzzer to a relay so it can be put on a kill switch. This is my eventual plan.
