A little help with a KF82D engine in old Gator
Hey Guys, I picked up an old 5 wheel gator a while ago that would take a min. to start.. Instead of messing with the vacuum fuel pump I replaced it with an electric pump. My question is should I plug the old vacuum line coming from the block or put a filter on it. Second question is there is another 1/4" hose coming off the valve cover on back of the engine that is not hooked up to anything. Do you think it should be plugged or put a filter on it?
I just put a new carb on it and it seems to run pretty well, however I have to choke the engine every time I start it, even if it's hot... Kinda thinking that may be a vacuum problem? Thanks!! |
