Default Are there storage baskets that fit rear seat kits?

90% of the time, my cart will not need to seat passengers in the rear. It would be nice if there was a storage basket that I could throw on top of the "flat bed" so that it had more utility.

Does this exist? Has anyone made their own using a plywood base or something like that?

I've looked at that one. Seems serviceable if you really strap it down. The Plowman's Drop In Box looks to do a good job of staying in place.

In my head, this is a $50 item. I'll probably spend a little while looking for a tub at Tractor Supply before dumping beaucoup bucks on either of these proprietary products.

Exactly. That one's a little tall, but this is the direction I think I'm headed.

I wanted to circle back and provide an update to this thread in hopes that it will help the next guy. I refused to pay the batsh1t crazy $250 and up prices for "golf cart storage bins." Finally, I found something at Lowe's for $13 that will suit most of my needs. Did I mention it was thirteen dollars.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Creative-Pl...Pan/1000642569

They keep changing the name of the item. Right now, it's called a Creative Plastic Concepts Large Mixing Tub Drywall Mud Pan. When I bought it, it was called a Large All Purpose Plastic Tub. Either way, it's Item #1176703 / Model #206126, Made In USA, holds 20+ gallons, and measures 24-in W x 36-in L x 8-in D. It takes up about half of my Williamson rear seat deck when folded down. The tub has inch scale measurements along one side and centimeter on the other. No need to lie about how big that catfish is.

To install:
1. Center tub up against rear roof support posts. Using silver sharpie or marking pen to mark where posts meet tub.
2. Use utility blade to cut slots into tub. This will help prevent the tub from sliding back and forth on the deck.
3. Drill two holes into floor of tub, through rear seat deck. Install hardware.
4. Pick a beer.

I like the tub.

I was wanting something too so here is what i ended up making for mine. not water tight or anything but it'll keep things from rolled or sliding out. And each piece is independent and just friction fits together so I can remove them if we need to use the seat
