50 degrees and sunny today. A nice change from a tornado watch. Took Izzy for the marina walk and I got a little dose of vitamin D

Also took Vicki out for a 3/4 island tour. I see the recent storm drove waves over some of the lower bulkheading on the north part of the island resulting in dirt/sand covering part of the road. I did not venture down to the south part of the island nor the adjacent Egg island . They were probably more affected with winds/waves covering the road with sand.

It finally got sunny here, then cloudy again. It can hardly hit 40 so not good carting weather. And it gets dark soon as I get home on stupid time now. At least I got some rides in last weekend it was not too bad. I don't even have my tree up yet I'm behind lol.

Back to the rain and 20+ mph winds today. I guess it is december so carting days will be rare from now on.

I see the weather outlook just got worse. 30-40 mph winds thru tonite.

Sunny but in the 30's last nite and the wind is still howling out there @ 15 + MPH. But as the G.F. pointed out "It is December "

It frosts here most of the time at night. Supposed to get snow this weekend I've heard 3-12 inch depending on how it hits. Trying to get my winter ride legal so I can drive that, AWD is nicer lol. SOS here is appt only what a pain, lot of people driving around with no plates up here. Its been windy for weeks it seems like, this week hard to break 40 maybe tomorrow before it turns to a mess this weekend. However I will try to get a run out in the snow if possible, the first snows are a lot of fun in a cart. Once it gets deep I can't get around out there. This is just terrible getting home and it gets dark in a few minutes, but the solstice is coming soon only 10 days.

I have neither the tires nor the desire to take the cart out in the snow. I guess as you are seeing the wind there it has just been a near constant factor here. I sure miss going to the beach and the marina and even the post office using the cart.
