I’m confused 2008 precedent
I have a 2008 precedent completely stock. Thought the solenoid went out so I ordered a heavy duty solenoid, wire it up, nothing. Disconnect the 2 spade connections and it works. The weird part is you never hear the solenoid click and it doesn’t appear to be closed when the cart is running. For full disclosure I have no batteries in and are running off of jumper cables from a friends cart so I can have access to the solenoid and controller compartment. I have no idea how fast it will run if it is on the ground and not lifted by my jack. I have to purchase new batteries so I don’t have batteries to put in the cart to see. That will come this weekend.
The original problem I am thinking is the MCOR but will find out once I put batteries in it and see if it is still hesitating. In short, why isn’t the solenoid clicking but the cart still running. Trying to upload pics from my phone but not sure if they are correct. First post here so sorry for the ineptness. |
