Back Up Alarm
Decided to put in switch to disable back up alarm so as not to wake nieghbors when I leave early. I put the switch in it silenced alarm did not check to see if cart would run. ( I used wire nuts) I then took out wire nuts and used solder and shrink tubing no alarm with switch open or closed. took out switch and put back the way it was but added a little more wire so I didn't have to work tight. With switch removed I have no alarm and cart won't run. any suggestions?

2002 Club Car 48 volt
reason for the silencing of the back up alarm its just a morning thing i leave for the gym at 5:30 am don't want to wake neighbors guess I could have just backed the cart in the night before i believe in back up alarms. |

Re: Back Up Alarm
Well gees I guess then that hearing impaired people should be equipped with an audible buzzer as well...

Re: Back Up Alarm
Put a couple pieces of electrical tape over the buzzer hole. That will tone it down a lot.

is it a rocker f/r switch or a handle f/r switch ? if handle i would test your solenoid .. the buzzer goes from a micro switch on f/r switch through buzzer to + side of solenoid |
