Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
Look through the stickies (Red links top of page) on the electric club car page. About 1/2 way down there are instructions.

Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
I was just doing that. Thanks!!
Another question that I read made me think of something. It has been about 3 months since I did all of this and I havent done anything to my batteries. I just read that if my batteries are below 38v the charger might not kick on. Is this true and if so should I unhook all the batteries and charge them manually to see if that fixes the problem? |

Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
Do you have a meter? I would check the voltage of the pack and each battery individually before I charged them individually. State of charge sticky will give you the information you need for voltage readings.

I do. I will check the readings tonight. What about the low voltage and the charger not kicking on? Is that true?

Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
I do believe that is true, but I am not sure what that voltage would be. If you have not done anything to drain the batteries during the 3 months, I would be surprised if they were below 38v.

Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
It's true, if batteries are too weak charger will not kick on and you will have to charge them individualy to bring them up high enough so your charger will work.

Re: 07 Precedent Not charging after wire corrosion
. . . correct . . . the pack voltage, per the CC Charger Manual, must be above 32v or the CC charger will not turn on . . . I thought it needed to be above 38v, but I just checked my manual and it states 32v minimum for charger to function . . . normal charge voltage is between 50-52 for fully charged pack . .
