Default Club Car DS ('96) rides rough with HD Springs

I replaced the original rear, single-leaf springs in my '96 Club Car DS with heavy-duty (triple) springs. It keeps my golf bag holder from bottoming out on hills as intended, but has made the ride over even small bumps MUCH rougher. I changed the front shocks, but heard that I shouldn't even need rear shocks. Any suggestions on making my ride smoother?

Thanks, I was afraid someone would say that. So lift kit or new/better shocks wouldn't help, huh?

The medium duty dual action shocks are so much better

Used Monroe Gas Matic Shocks it will fit stock DS also
Monroe #31176 (also O'Reilly Auto #)
Advance Auto #55829

I had my rear end out when mounting the new shocks , some had a problem installing these without loosing the u bolts.
