Any thoughts on the brute force batteries?
Local place sells only those and no Trojans... from what I can tell it’s about 350 less for a set of 6 (us batteries are 650 Trojans are 1000)
I really prefer the Trojans but I wonder if it’s worth the price difference. |

Spool, who did you call? I'm in Lake Worth. Jupiter Golf Carts and Scott's Automotive are both trustworthy shops. I bought my Precedent from Scott and he really impressed me. Chance @ JCG has helped me out and given me free advice on more than one occasion, while getting nothing in return.

Re: Any thoughts on the brute force batteries?
Im on my second set of Brute Force but haven't had a set long enough to give you an idea how long they last. My first set was when my cart was 36V and I had them 18-24 months without any issues I upgraded to 48v earlier this year and ended up getting another set as the price was good. They are made by Powertron and when I was a mechanic 10 years or so ago we had stocked interstates for a long time but got tired of constant warranty issues and switched to Powertron after talking to a rep of theirs and had hardly any warranty/product issues. My old boss still sells the powertrons as thats where I got both my cart sets from. For what its worth I am happy with them for the price.
