That is not good cart weather. Here its pop up showers the sun is shining before it stops raining. Rain once in weeks here we need it really bad, and high temps, grass is brown in a lot of places.

Nice day today. Not many bugs so took Vicki for several rides. Some days a golf cart on this island are beyond description.

Another Great Day on the Delaware Bay especially riding your cart around P.S. Just took a ride into the next islands nature preserve. The greenheads are still there.

Nice weekend I should have worked on the cart, I'm going to order some parts for it should make it easier than making something from scratch. Shepard helped me out with a source I think it will work, just make or mod my arm and it should be there....figure out the ratio I need to the pedal, etc. We have the green roadkill flies that only bite when its hot, and deerflies if you stop someplace but generally you can outrun them on a cart.

I don't envy trying to get linkage to fit in a yamaha. With the harley I had the space but soon found with all the spring pressure all the parts had to be pretty sturdy. Have Fun.

I see NRracing is listing the VC billet rod and 92 mm flat top piston as in stock. Also the cheaters cams are out of stock.

Ray, when I called them a couple months ago their site showed the 460 motors as in stock but they verified that was INCORRECT. I asked if they drop ship their parts or physically have the inventory in house and ship out. They said they stock what they sell. At the time Vegas carts was not selling the 460 kit because they didn’t have crankshafts for the motors. Emailing back and forth with Geoff I asked about the possibility of purchasing a 460 kit off him without the crankshaft if I could source one else where (NR racing). I contacted NR racing and they verified yes they do have the 69mm 460 crankshafts in stock and on their shelves. Just after I talked to NR racing Geoff sent me a follow up email saying he had 2 more complete 460 kits so I purchased one of them for my carryall build. Fast forward a couple weeks now that I am almost wrapped up my carryall build I started putting the ds with my predator 420 motor in it back together. When I did the swap I cut the crankshaft and used the taper adapter with the stock club car clutch- dumb choice in hindsight. Always wanted to switch to the 780 but was kind of stuck since I cut the shaft. Well I remembered NR racing had the 460 crankshafts instock so I ordered one from them 2 weeks ago to put in the predator motor. Long story short- NR RACING stocks these parts but don’t always believe the quantities on the website. Pick up the phone and call them both NR racing and Vegas carts are great people to deal with!

I see on Paulscarts he is repairing a billet 390 head. Also see a company named MDR is selling a 4 valve hemi billet head for a mere $2800 with 2:1 ratio rocker arms and valve springs capable of 12,000 rpms. AND carrier performance is taking preorders for their 390 billet head with 46 mm intakes and 36 mm exhaust with 1.5 ratio rocker arms for a mere $850. They also sell the 1.5 ratio needle bearing roller rockers for $220. I guess those outlaw mini bike drag racers might win the $'s back to pay for these goodies. Bullfrog is still listing his 500 and 570 cc 460 based engines for sale. Speed cost $'s how fast do you want to go ? I had seen rumors about the 4 valve 390 head a while back BUT sometimes these things never become reality. Apparently this one has.

We had Vicki out twice yesterday and again earlier today BUT now it is pretty hot here with a heat advisory so I think that is it for this weekend.
