I am sure you will be ready long before I am. I keep amassing parts for the Omega engine BUT this season for sure I will keep running my long rod version of the VC 460 thrown together in 2016. I was all hot on rushing the Omega build until the forged piston/ARC rod deck height issue became apparent. Then the new VC block I purchased turned out to be dead straight so I decided to keep it safe and use the long rod block for the overbore forged piston I purchased for the deck height issue.Bottom line a complicated situation for Omega BUT a simple situation for now is just keep running the long rod for now. P.S. If you want to spend the money the solution is to buy the Xtra long billet rod from bullfrog and the .900 compression height Ross piston from NR.

Actually did it again. Just felt great to be out riding You have to really watch with all the tourist not being very good with carts. BUT having a powerful cart sure makes it easier to keep up with traffic. Finally did an exact hour meter total today. 171 hours on the long rod conversion and 341 hours total on the base VC 460 itself.

I'm going to try using my truck at the car shows they have at the Hickorys Public Park this summer. I have a handicap placard for the windshield so I shouldn't have issues. It's also licensed and insured.

I'm going go for a ride today.

Turned out to be a beautiful day on the bay despite rain forecast. The island is only 3/4 full today. Got some rides in and Izzy was treated to a walk all around the marina. Lot more locals on on their carts today. Some weekenders brought their carts down for the season.

Same thing here 70F everyone was out, I went out of town yesterday to the sticks and it was great saw some family. Ton of hotrods and bikes tearing around here. I hope people don't get too crazy and get crowds going and so on.

Took Vicki out for a morning ride. It is sunny but brisk. BUT all the tourist and sun downers have gone. I did find out part of the crowds were here when the word got out that black drum fish were hitting off the beach. Also there was a beach wedding on saturday night on the north end of the island. Fishermen on the south side and wedding guest on the north side.

We had a beautiful weekend for riding but my cart is having issues. Hoping to have it sorted out this week. Riding weather is going to be getting better and better.

I worked today but it was around 50F saying it will be highest temp all week. I can't imagine how cool it is riding around all that water there, no wonder you are doing rides all the time lol.
