I see Paulscarts put up the Super HD engine blocks on E bay as GX 460 engine blocks. They are super ribbed 10 bolt units the come in 90 or 92 mm bore sizes. I imagine the crazy minibikers and unlimited carters will test these out to make even more power. I thought about getting one of theses for my Omega build but reason prevailed that I will never even use the VC 10 bolt block to its full potential let alone that monster.

Talking about clone engines and E bay I see Vegascarts is selling their old engine dyno on Ebay. They have upgraded to a better one. I wonder if one of the racing parts suppliers will end up with it.

I don't know, things are getting strange. 460's all over the place. They don't even list enough parts on there site to build a 460 -- makes me wonder what up with them. They kind of went dark after they started selling the new 625.

What is missing ? I see the DIY VC 460 is on sale for $349 and the racer builder unit is listed @ $249. Other parts such as the 69mm crank, their 10 bolt block, and their billet rod/with the machined flat topped piston are also listed along with the torque cam. The only 2 things I noticed missing were the milled heads which went away about the time the 625 appeared and the adjustable idle jet 2 circuit carb. Paulscarts has started selling his spec very high lift valve springs, viton valve seals, and now his super ribbed block. Jeremy over @ Bullfrog has VC parts along with his HD rods. Stay tuned on what comes next.I also noticed on facebook VC announced their long awaited billet disc brake kit was just around the corner. Maybe they got the new dyno to start on speed equipment for the 625 which would be the next logical step.

Anyone looking to build a real killer clone take a view of Paulscarts youtube videos. He is for sure a man on a mission.

Just did a full island test run in Vicki today. Saturday is the marina preopening with its HUGE flea market. Aired up the tires and topped up the fuel tank. So no matter how many trips between the marina and my house I have to make I am ready for what ever the GF buys. If she buys something BIG there is always the Sonoma. There will be a LOT of carts here this weekend. P.S. Surprised me but all my little jaunts have added up to 7 hours so far this season. At first I wondered where all the gas I put in went. The hour meter flies when you are having fun. P.P.S. 1$ hot dogs, bowls of chili and cans of soda.

Sounds like a heckuva party Ray. Maybe you could use the trailer I have to pull to the VFW when Annie gets in gardening mode for the flower beds. The water tank has been removed. We put in a frost proof hydrant by the memorial garden.

I actually have an old lawn tractor trailer that I rigged up to pull the kayak down to the beach with before I bought the pick up. But with so many off islanders here I don't think it would be wise to leave all the items unattended while we are searching for more.

There was 25 mph wind with 40 mph gust so we used the car rather than the cart. I didn't buy anything BUT the GF score some incredible deals. Did do the $1 hot dogs and sodas.
