Can't get power to key switch

I had a 2008 TXT 36v stolen a month or so back and the it was finally recovered. When it was taken the key was in the switch but for some reason the meth head who took it pulled the plate out and wired the switch wires together. The controller checks out good as well as the motor. But I still can't get power to the switch. I have traced everything that I know of with my meter and I am thinking it may be something to do with a micro switch but I don't have a whole lot of experience with those so any input would be appreciated.

Power to the key switch should be coming from the battery pack main (+)

Scottyb this isn't a series he said PDS. Power from controller and back to the controller right?

You are right power to pin 9 and 8 when the switch is on.
