Well I meant seeing how this motor is different from all the others i've seen since it has the spur gear instead of the splined shaft, i was sure if the shaft is a two piece and the spurred side should have stayed in the rear end when i took off the motor.

How did you remove the motor?I took the four mount bolts out and this thing wont budge!!!

I have an opp to buy a 1978 Melex cart
Looks to be in good condition. They want $850.00. I'm brand new to the world of golf carts so my question is: will I be sorry? I want to use it for a construction site guard to ride around in. Terrain is dirt but they keep it pretty smooth. I just dont want to buy a huge service/maintenance problem. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |

$850 for a guard cart ... not bad ... make sure they plug it in after use and check water in batteries every week ... remind them if they wreck it they walk
