Default Well.. shoot

Work at a small boatyard where we have two g9 golf carts that slowly lost all performance and could no longer take one guy up the hill, could easily do three back in the hay day. We installed all new clutches primary and secondary and drive belts. Problem still exists carts are essentially useless. Out of frustration we pulled the secondary clutch assembly off on of the machines and found the brass bushing is half worked it’s way out and ruined?? This clutch is basically new? What would cause such a quick failure? I’m also at whits ends on what to do with these carts?. Would love some help
Thanks

Can't really tell from the pic what's wrong, it's a little small.

"Basically new", does that mean you have replaced the clutch recently? Yes, worn or broken clutches and belt will definitely make the cart useless. Might need more pics of the clutches and belt.

Does the engine sound heathly? Might be time for a tune up?

Whose clutch? OEM? China knockoff? Somebody's "torque kit" with a stiff
spring?(also china)

That sheave looks like it's been machined...

I actually dont think its cut, I think it's just jacked from flopping around. But I agree, if its china stuff, try the real stuff....

It was a "high torque" clutch from golf cart king with the big red spring. It's not cut it's just chewed up.
If this is china junk, where do I buy higher quality? I just assumed it was all from china at this point
