Melex solenoid needed
I need a solenoid for a 1999 625 E. Or can I use any 36 V solenoid with 200 amp rating and wire it accordingly? I have searched dozens of parts sites with no luck.

Re: Melex solenoid needed
Yes any continuous duty solenoid of the same rating and configuration will work. Don't get too hung up on the Melex name. It is just a copy of the same year Ezgo and 99% of the parts are interchangeable

Thanks Scotty. I have ordered a White solenoid that should be fine.

Re: Melex solenoid needed
The solenoid sent did not match the picture so of course it wouldn't fit. Turns out the old one is ok anyway.
