Club Car Precedent from 12v to 8v?
I have read that six 8v batteries are better than the four 12v batteries in club car precedent. Does someone sell a battery box or conversion kit to fit the six 8v batteries in a CC Precedent? They won't fit in the factory box. Would I have to mess with the components that are hidden by the middle box inside the battery box? Anyone done such a conversion? Thanks! Tom

I think club car makes the conversion kit to do that.

Yes, they do make a conversion kit. Contact your Club Car dealer. It might even be a warranty deal. According to my Club Car dealer they found that the 4- 12 volt batteries were a problem and it sounding like they were doing the conversions under warranty. Doesn't hurt to check.
